Saturday, November 14th, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson donated $25,000.00 to the “You Can Go To College Committee”. The Queens based nonprofit organization was established in 1996 to ensure a smooth transition from high school to college for students. The program includes college tours in state and an annual black historical college bus tour, PSAT and SAT preparation courses, parents financial aid workshops, paid and non paid internships, scholarships and help finding financial assistance programs. In the last 12 years, “The You Can Go To College Committee” has been responsible for over 3000 students enrolled in colleges and universities and more than 1000 graduates all across the country.

Today we gave out 300 turkeys at the Church of God in Christ Jesus of the Apostles Faith located in South Jamaica, in the neighborhood where 50 threw Forever Young Day in September.

Wednesday November 18th G-Unity will be serving food to homeless shelters that will be bused in by a local church.

Saturday November 21st G-Unity will be at another local church handing out 500 turkeys to families in need as well.
