18 Exclusive, Never Before Heard Tracks from 50 Cent and G-Unit
50 Cent: One of the most exciting things about Blood on the Sand is that we put 18 exclusive tracks in the game that people have never heard before. The exclusive music is made specifically for this game and won’t appear anywhere else. The new songs give you a lot of options. People who play games these days play much longer than they did back in the day playing Street Fighter, so it’s important that the games have music that people want to listen to as they play.
I enjoy the process of making music everywhere I go. If I’m on a plane for 6 hours from NY to LA, then I’m writing things down as I think of them during that flight. For the soundtrack of the actual video game, there’s a specific tempo, a pace that you have to hold, you can’t bounce around, you can’t just put anything into the game, it has to have that energy to it.
