What is your name and what city do you rep?

My name is Jacob Peoples and I am from Winston Salem, North Carolina TRE4

What is unique about you and your music?

My music is unique because its not the same cookie cutter bull you hear everyday. You can relate to what I am saying. I put everything into this

What shaped your music?

I have had a unique life. My mom was a stripper and thats how I learned to count. Her getting off work throwing me huge stacks of cash to count. My parents were never together. Dad on drugs drinking going back and forth to jail and prison and then boom I end up diong the same s***. First time I went to jail was 15 then after that went to prison and just went downhill racking up charges left and right. Now my life is coming back together so I try to speak on what goes on in my life from that to heartbreak, relationships and everything between.

When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?

After I won a showcase against 120 artists and groups and Opened for Meek Mill

What type of music do you listen to?

More on the lines of reggae, rock, and 90s 2000s hiphop

Who, to you, is the most undervalued music artist?

Joyner Lucas and MGK are definitely undervalued and Its crazy to me, wish I could do something to help.. Maybe one day.

How do you prepare for your performances?

Pretty much make sure Im dressed in a dope outfit looking fresh and have stuff to boost the show like dancers and stuff like that just to make it more entertaining and memorable.

What ignites your (song) writing flow?

Just depends sometimes comes out of the blue. I even come up with stuff while i am sleeping and memorize it in my dreams.

What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?

Find odd end jobs and I also make custom marble and granite artwork. Always goota hustle to make money by any means.

Success to you is…

Being able to live whatever life i wanna live and be able to afford the things i need and want and to be able to help my family.

What do you wish you were told when you first started rapping that you think would help artists starting out?

find the best quality engineers and studios. Be yourself. Promotion is key. Make sure the business end is handled properly and come witha plan to push the music the right way.

Any upcoming projects?

Yes I am working on a mixtape at the moment.
